Automatic Light and Dark Theme

My Mac switches between light and dark mode automatically at sunup and sundown, and this is the only app I can think of that doesn't follow along.

You've already got light and dark modes, so please just add an "auto" mode that switches between the two.

I'd like the same for the header bar, although something like this would also do the trick, since I don't care about the traffic lights. Edit: I just realized (after sundown) that the header is actually the only thing that does follow system theme.

You are correct, Kanri does not follow system preferences for light and dark mode yet. This is because I wanted to keep the user in control with theming (especially considering there is a custom option), but I will look into adding an "auto" option which respects the system preferences.

I'm unsure when I will have time to get to this, but if you or anyone else wants to contribute this, feel free to do so.

Good news! This feature has been implemented and will be released with the next version of Kanri :)

The next release will take a while because there are quite a few other issues/improvements to be tackled first (see the milestone linked to this issue), but it will be out at some point in the near future.
