Handling of the altgr (aka. ctrl+alt) modifier is seriously bugged

As far as I know this was never working correctly, I think it might be a fundamental flaw in keyconfig's design. But recently something changed. On FF47 none of the keys work with this modifier if they have a third character (most of the alphanumeric keys on a hungarian layout). The third character is shown in the input field instead of the key with modifiers. (eg: @, instead of altgr +V, or ctrl + alt + V) On central (FF51) suddenly these keys work, but plain altgr+O doesn't. For which I have no explanation On neither do altgr/ctrl+alt + ö/ü/ó work, because they have "dead key" functions to add diacritics to characters.

I think the addons should read the keycodes of keys and show whatever characters are assigned to them, instead of trying to read the characters which as it looks like fails much of the time.

Unfortunately, that's probably not the type of thing I can fix. My intent was to put this addon on AMO so people could find it, and maybe patch things if stuff breaks. What you're describing would mean a complete overhaul in how the addon works. I guess I'll just have to list this as a "known issue."

I'll leave this open if someone else wants to try to fix this, though.
