Overwrite existing hotkey by new script and warning popup?

Open bsto opened this issue 7 years ago • 0 comments

Assume I wrote a new script and assigned it to a hotkey (e.g. Strg+X). Then this can be done without any problems.

BUT:

1.) Users are not warned that this hotkey is already in use by another menu/function 2.) The new hotkey assignment has lower priority that the previous one.

So is there a way to force dorando-keyconfig to AUTOMATICALLY check if a hotkey is already used?

And if yes pop a warning dialog.

And if user confirms hotkey disable the previous hotkey meaning and overwrite it with the new meaning?

Having to manually check a meaning in the hotkey list is very tedious and user unfriendly and should be avoided.
