Clone package - also Arch Linux Packages, not just AUR

Would it be possible to use the --get parameter to clone not only AUR package, but also the standard Arch Linux Repositories?

I normally just use asp for that, but it would probably be easy to integrate into trizen with an optional dependency on asp. Would actually be a nice feature

asp seems to be more complicated, it keeps local $HOME/.cache/asp, needs to first asp update dovecot before trying to get the current repo version with asp checkout dovecot. Using a sledgehammer to crack nuts.

A simple clone without local caching, without history, etc. would be sufficient for trizen.

Might be worth to look at pbget, which works for official repo build files as well as for AUR. It pulls in some python dependencies though.

Can be installed from AUR too.
