the namespace for gtk-* is crowded. So autocompleting is easier with pipe-viewer-gtk . For example, transmission uses this convention. Yea, this is minor.

Just noticed this earlier on rofi. I was wondering if anyone else was asking this. I mean you could alias this in your bashrc, a complete rename might not happen in a while :/

@trizen To do this, rename it, add an alias with the old name that points to the new one and declares it self deprecated. After a long time, you remove the alias, at a major version number change.
