Standard Log format like JSON or XML

When checking logs on Kibana and raising alerts in dependency of those logs it would be helpful to have the logs in a standardized format like JSON or XML. I did some digging and found the log message format to be defined in here. But a parameter to be able to define the log output format when starting up the server would be really helpful.
