DBA Dash also uses the server name to identify RDS instance and will have a similar bug. This probably won't impact many people. As a workaround the failed collections could be disabled.

Confirmed this is a (minor) issue. WMI isn't automatically disabled if the RDS check fails due to changing server name. Also, check if XE is supported will fail if RDS isn't Standard/Enterprise edition.
