Keyboard stays open when launching slideshow

When you launch the slideshow with the keyboard open, it stays open and prevents the status bar to fade away. It's annoying to have to close the keyboard before launching the slideshow so I would like the keyboard to be automatically hidden when viewing the slideshow.
