Interesting, that is an issue. This came to light because an app (Spotify i believe) was using a loose ampersand which was causing a warning and incorrect label.
Looking back at the initial bug, yes that would cover it. Might still be scope for the bug to creep back in as the documentation you linked doesn't mention escaping...
I've tested this and it works as expected, The same can be said for equivalent changes to the gtk4 branch I have, so I'm going to apply this there too.
On assessing again, we didn't include `keyfile.set_string("Desktop Entry", "StartupNotify", "true");` in launchers. I see @dkondor helpfully referenced sources, but it's lost on me as to what they mean in context....
I wouldn't say 'never' but as AppIndicator falls back to Gtk StatusIcon internally if there's no appindicator service to use, I'd argue it covers ground better (except for Mac/Windows)
Flatpak most certainly won't autostart, and I'm not in control of the COPR repo. I'd advise, for now, putting the applications into KDE's autostart.
Note to self : Potentially linked to #348
Most certainly the same issue as #338
This is an issue with render-scale which needs some looking into. Essentially, any non-integer scale causes the screen-size logic to give incorrect information
Closing this in favour of #338
