Create a Global Email Notification option for Administrators
It would be useful to have the option to send an email to every platform user to notify them of
- System updates
- Global use policy updates
- Security reminders
- Down-time notifications. etc
To date we have been doing this through a couple of common groups - but this is difficult to manage
The ability to send a single email that will be forwarded to EVERY platform user would be far easier (though of course these would have to be restricted to Admins and co-membership for this mail list must be hidden from all users).
(NB: this should be in addition to the "splash page" suggestion as not all users routinely log into the system).
NB: This should not just be a super-large group with all members - as that could leak to users who is on the platform by simply checking member lists.
