tabfirst/last do c-^ and :tab % with tabsort mru
This makes some sense in how the completions display with tabsort mru but it is also a bit pointless, so we should probably make tabfirst/last always go by Firefox indices
Absolutely agree, the default behaviour seemed to change in an update.
Now I can either not use mru at all, which is extremely useful when searching open tabs with :tab and then have tabfirst be neutered. Or I can have set default as the tabsort and then completely lose mru.
Until recently this was not the default behaviour, has there been a regression with the handling of :tabfirst?
I think tabsort mru has always worked like that but I'm not certain. In the meantime before it gets fixed you can probably use :composite set tabsort default ; tabfirst ; set tabsort mru
Sorry for the slow reply, your message got lost over the holidays :)
