added a basic updater

Hi,

Very quickly knocked up a basic updater that can be added as a simple cron.

Works for me as I adjust none of the base values, not sure if someone else could find use for it or not. Code's pretty rubbish (I am NOT a coder) but take anything of use and trash the rest.
