Js component - fire onSubmit event from external button

Hi @trevoreyre , I'm using the javascript component, and I'm looking for a way to fire the submit event from an external button, on the same way that Enter click triggers it or like when you choose an option from the dropdown menu with the mouse click where it's getting in the onSubmit function. Is this doable? I found this #109 , not exactly the same problem, but there is no answer to test it or try to modify it.
