Prefix matching for commands [moved]

Original description

It would be nice if there was a way to not just create an alias for the
command, but to be able to match commands by prefix. (This could be turned
on with an option.)

I.e., if "myprogram" has commands list, add and view, then "myprogram l"
should do the same as "myprogram list", etc.
