Modify pallet layout into tracking
Dear all,
It would be niece if there was the possibility to change truck/cnt pallaet layout, the alghorithm seem to fail or not calculate some layout.
this layout is not optimezed, the following layout is not calculated
;
furthermore it would be grat if there will be the possibility to insert (in the pallet analisys) a pallet in the middle, so user can calculate already a double stacked pallet solution; at the moment the only solution is to insert an interlayer 14 centimeter of tickness.

thanks for your work.
Thanks for posting this. For testing purposes, can you send the .stb project file at fgasnier_at_treedim_dot_com ? Also, you might have noticed that truck loading allows multiple layers which makes pallet insertion in the pallet analysis unnecessary.
Dear Francois,
thanks for your quick answer,
attached the STB. file,
from our calculation and real experience we load 21 pallet into a 11,55 ( real net lenght of a Refeer Container HC) meter long container the layout proposed into attached xls file is not suggested (other software do it).
Pallet insertion in the pallet analysis would be great for all final user that have to respect maximum height due to limitation of some type of container and need to do double stacked pallet, I explain better myself. We have a maximum heigth of 2,43 meter (container height) but our customers can not stock pallet so high, they need to split them. so we need to calculate a max height considering 2 pallet height and it would be useful to know in advance how many layers you can load in a double stacked container so you can give a tecnichal sheet to our customer or to production department, but the solution of a custom interlayer (same dimension and height of a pallet can satisfy my request).
Another question... you foresee the possibility to develop (in the future) a function to manually change the layout for box/pallet/truck analisys? it would be great, maybe dragging a single box/case/pallet like in this site http://www.onpallet.com/index.php
Furthermore it would be possible to convert the code into VB.net, using an automatic converter is not the right solution, there are a lot of error and I have not all the knwledge to solve them...
thanks a lot for your great job.

@liviom Regarding you wanting to convert the code to VB.not. You don't have to convert the project to VB, you can include C# projects in VB projects without problem.
My question is, how can I set the orientation when loading EUR pallets on a truck? When doing pallet/truck analysis. I want to stack two pallets in a row (when loading a truck).
Here is an example of a load plan I created:

The first three rows are the way I want the load to look like, two pallets in a row (in a vertical position). The rest of the pallets are loaded three in a row (in a horizontal position). Can I change the orientation of all pallets?
