Hey mate - this is the exact sort of gallery i have been looking for for AGES!

I store all my photos by year and month in there own folders, and update all tags and things from digikam, there there has been NO project that allows me to create a view of those folders that are accessible from the net, without being super slow, or overly complex - Piwigo, Lychee, Nextcloud, etc.

After a couple teething issues, i have server up and running, with great performance and a great set of features for exploring photos.

Please tell me that you are continuing to develop this? as there are a number of features that i would love! Especially auth. Don't want photo's of me in the bath going viral...

also - ignoring folders would be a must! i would be working off of a NAS and it has snapshots, i think the application would go down the symlink rabbit hole!
