As mentioned in reddit. Took the liberty of trying it out.

This required an unreleased https://github.com/tetratelabs/wazero/pull/2216 fix. You may want to hold out for the next release.

Windows was failing due to https://github.com/tetratelabs/wazero/pull/2218. ~Will update the PR once merged.~ Should be fixed.

Thanks a lot @ncruces, I have just released v0.17.0 which uses wazero! I really appreciate it. Performance looks good too.
