Project Status
Hello team,
Great job for putting such a lib. I would like to know whether the project is still ongoing or it is abandoned. I do know how difficult it is to combine day-job and open source project.
This is definitely a great project, which can be a Kafka killer considering golang resource usage is very less than Java. But sad, this project is not active since last 2 years. Developers of this project can plan github sponsor for this project.
I am also searching for status of this project after looking one new project fluvio in RUST, which also seems promising Kafka replacement.
Writing books about unfinished project(s) is more important than actually finishing the project(s). lol. If that's not a perfect example of silicon valley mentality, i don't know what is.
Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. If that the case just make the repo readonly. That is the basic thing to do to let users know that is the project is no longer maintained or update the readme to state that it needs support.
