What about ExternalSecrets instead of sops?

It looks like ExternalSecrets is more robust, flexible, and supports namy secrets managers, not just Vault as alternative to Sops.

Would love to see this project with ExternalSecrets instead.

Not sure what you’re after exactly. There’s no reason you can’t deploy an external secret with helmfile.
