APT whitelist request for libunwind7-dev

Open tobiasbrunner opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

libunwind-dev is already whitelisted, but it does not actually exist in precise (it does starting with utopic, which ships with libunwind8). The source package libunwind is the same on all Ubuntu releases.

I'm a little confused. The test ran at https://travis-ci.org/travis-ci/apt-whitelist-checker/builds/73920823. There is no issues, but the source package libunwind does not define libunwind7-dev package. https://travis-ci.org/travis-ci/apt-whitelist-checker/builds/73920823#L400

With trusty, which this ruby build container is running, libunwind8 is apparently shipped. But precise, which the c containers are running, comes with libunwind7: http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/precise/libunwind
