Up Speed and Down Speed do not populate

I am using the latest version 5.18 on Windows - installed through package installer.

After connecting to my remote server, everything populates properly; however, on the main screen, the "up speed" and "down speed" statistics do not populate at all, even when they are actively transferring. The bottom of the program always says the transfer rate is 0 kb even when it is higher.

When I look at specific peers, the upload speed does appear, but not on the line on the main screen.
