I suspect this is the same issue as https://github.com/transmission-remote-gui/transgui/issues/1389

As I reported there, even though this apparently doesn't occur with the precompiled version, those binaries don't seem to run properly. This needs a proper upstream fix, and probably a new release to include it.

I'm wondering which part should me to look at and try to find a solution. do you have any ideas?
