Warn about out-of-date stats if file is modified
If the file is modified and not yet saved, a few things won't be up to date, including
- statistics in the file properties
- quality checks
We should give the user some indication to this effect to avoid nasty surprises.
This is partially addressed with revision 17377 (tooltip in properties dialogue). This is probably not strictly required for 0.7, so we can move this out if we feel like it, I guess.
Dwayne, I still feel this is too subtle. How many users do you think will discover this at all? Any other ideas?

I agree, much too subtle. Some thoughts:
- A button to refresh stats
- Put the message at the top
- Highlight the out of dateness with some colour or background to the error message.
Dwayne, your (2) is maybe easiest, and sounds attractive, although I thought you were against that initially.
Alternatively what about something similar to the asterisk that we use in the title bar, or a similar idiom?

I am against it really but I don't think we have much option within the current limitations. It seems like a small change. Ideally I'd like the button, appears when something has changed - but that then requires localisation.

Too subtle I think.
