Invisible activation of navigation pane

I can see the issue on our Windows machine as well. On Linux the combobox shows the focus. This seems to be an issue relating to the GTK+ theme. I reported a bug against the Windows theme at GNOME: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=595476

By the way, you usually don't need to put yourself in CC for bugs that you reported.
