Ping between clients times out and no internet access

After connecting 2 Windows devices to Algo VPN I get no internet access on them and pinging each other times out. Their MTU is 1500 so it does not seem to be an MTU issue that is causing the lack of internet access.

I also connected an iPhone and Android device and they all lose internet access once connected.

Algo VPN was installed on a Raspberry PI 4 Ubuntu Server. I did change the setting to enable pinging between clients in the config.

The internet connection issue can probably be fixed by port forwarding in the router settings. And ping timing out can probably be solved via disabling the rules blocking the ping requests.

I do not know whether the above will work for Algo VPN as I run into too many issues trying to set it up so I switched to trying PiVPN which I got working using the settings above.

Hope the above will at least help anyone else later running into these issues.
