Is there a way to use RippleEffect with rounded corner background

I tried to add RippleView a rounded background but Ripple Effect is not clipped to that bounds. I also tried clipChildren.

@traex we have a view which has a custom background which is rounded, if we wrap that view inside rippleview the ripple does not get clipped to the backgrounds bounds but extends to rectangle or square area of the view.
