Syntax Highlighting
Proposal
I'm a big fan of ipython
. ipython
has syntax highlighting. It looks like this:
Would be cool if yaegi could support this as well, although It hink that this will maybe crash when rlwrap is being used.
Background
Colors are nice.. mhhhhkaaay.
Workarounds
No, current workaround.
off-topic
@shibumi could you explain why you deleted the AUR of yaegi?
Shibumi [1] deleted yaegi [2].
You will no longer receive notifications about this package.

@ldez because I have pushed the package to community: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/yaegi/
If you are on Arch you can install it via pacman -Syu yaegi
now.
ok thank you for the explanation.
screenshot link is broken
@ashneverdawn Thanks, I have updated the screenshot with a ipython screenshot from their documentation.
EDIT: The autocomplete feature of ipython is pretty neat as well.
nice but im looking forward to lua and javascripts also C++
I just drop another link to rebel-readline, a pretty solid Clojure readline library with syntax-highlighting, auto-completion and inline documentation: https://asciinema.org/a/160597
I would love to see syntax-highlighting and auto-completion being integrated into yaegi!
