Installation problem with Python 2.7

I have Python 2.7.10 on a Mac High Sierra 10.13.5 . During installation of geebam, this is the message I get Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement geebam (from versions: ) No matching distribution found for geebam

I tried installing requirements.txt manually, but that didn't help.

Any idea why I have these problems?
