Send null instead of zero for missing data
Client sends erroneous data to the server, when it should not, and could decide not to do so.
What erroneous data are you talking about?
The data it might not be aware of (accuracy, altitude, course, speed).
Can you please not use hyperbolic language like "erroneous". It was designed to work this way, so it's not a bug or an error. I agree that it can be improved, but there is no need to try and exaggerate things. This is not the first time you do it. It doesn't help the case.
Sure. Would "needless" be not too offensive to you ? I'm open to another wording.
Or "improve data sent to the server" ? I don't know, your call.
Just call it what it really is. Send null instead of zero for missing data, or something like that.
So be it !
