Video glitches when navigating SAROO menu

This is a minor thing, but it happens. When navigating up or down on SAROO game list menu the screen glitches slightly. Tested on 50hz and 60hz CRTs with high quality SCART RGB Euro cables.

I have seen the same glitch on multiple youtube videos of people testing the SAROO, so I assume this is a general issue, not just my own.
