Jokes aside, this would simplify any kind of program (e.g. games), because parsing markdown is hard.

A problem would be to keep both files in sync. So I propose using a Python script to generate the README from the other file. I can write it.

I would open a PR, but the README.md says "for educational purposes only", and IDK what would be the best JSON structure for the markdown list
