Sees current test booking as new test

Sometimes I get the above occurrence where it detects the current test as a new test. I suspect there's some time issue and it looks for a test element on the current booking page by accident?

Realised this is because I didn't update my 'current_test' - i wonder if there's a way to differentiate this or prevent this happening without manually updating each time
