What would you like to be added?

We need to standardize our schema usage. Currently only a portion of functions allow for using function[schema](). We need to either allow all of them to use it or none. Currently if a non compatible one is used, no useful error is given.

Why is this needed?

Makes it very confusing when I can use schema and when I cant. This is also adding some difficulty when creating the dag, as dynamic dispatched functions don't register in the dag properly.
