extension on the toolbar
- Is there a way to make the "Toggle Extensions" button show a popup window listing all installed extensions, instead of displaying them all on the toolbar—similar to how Arc Browser does it?
- When a small popup window appears (e.g. when logging in with a Google account), the window control buttons are missing. While there's a small area on the toolbar that allows dragging, there's no visible close button. The only way to close the popup is by using the Alt+F4 shortcut.
A simple way to reproduce this is by opening an email in Gmail while holding the Shift key to force it to open in a separate popup window.
- When the Vivaldi window is small, the pinned extensions overlap with the window control buttons (e.g. the close button). While the close button is still clickable, it looks a bit awkward. I hope Vivaldi can automatically hide some extensions when there isn’t enough space on the toolbar.
The first one is already done. https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/35386/button-that-displays-extensions-in-a-drop-down-menu/7
Just search for “Expand Hidden Extensions” in the settings and check the box.
I think this is a great feature, and I hope it can be included in the Vivalarc configuration tutorial.
@yangbentw This is great, I stumbled upon this issue on a whim, but yep I agree, it should be in the VivalArc config. It's a great nice-to-have.
