I think that if you want to be deductible from France as well, you will have to be registered as a TGE beneficiary (https://www.transnationalgiving.eu/). And at the Fondation De France (the only French TGE partner), so that French people can pay from their website (https://dons.fondationdefrance.org/tge/~mon-don) and obtain donation receipts that are safe and reliably recognized by French tax authorities. It looks pretty complicated and they besides pick a commission of 5%, but I don't know other ways.

I contacted the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation https://www.swissphilanthropy.ch/ and every member of the association board has received of copy of the email.

Here is the plan

  • [x] contact SPF and start the process
  • [ ] send them the asked information (association / contact person) @lenhoanglnh @aidanjungo
  • [ ] probably start the process of becoming a public interest association in Switzerland
  • [ ] fill the form sent by the SPF

Joining the TGE network with the SPF will allow all people from "partner countries" to donate to Tournesol (https://www.transnationalgiving.eu/category/partner).
