can't figure out how to use this

So it looks like one's supposed to set a "marker" on either the blocker or trigger task and have point on the other task?

How does one set the marker?

And what if there are two blockers?

When I did C-SPC (to set a mark?) and then moved the point to another todo header and did C-s-e all I get in the minibuffer is "Query (boolean AND)" which I have no idea what to put in there.

Help?

Maybe you'd like to read https://karl-voit.at/2021/01/23/org-linker-edna/ and perhaps also watch my short demo I did for EmacsConf 22 (linked in the article).

TL;DR: you are on the heading that will affect another heading when marked as done (typically). Then you invoke org-linker-edna and enter a search query (the one you've been asked) which narrows down a search in order to identify the affected heading.

When a heading has multiple blockers, you can't set it to any finished status as long as one of the blocking headings is not in a finished status.

@novoid is probably more versed in using this than I am actually, so i'd take a look at his stuff first.

You aren't required to set any markers yourself though. It's all handled through the helm interface. novoid's demo is probably the best explanation.
