Launcher ignores mirror settings

I am trying to download and install tor-browser using launcher. Main mirror is blocked in Russia, so I am trying to set alternative. But whatever mirror I choose I always get an error that launcher cant connect to "https://aus1.torproject.org/torbrowser/update_3/release/Linux_x86_64-gcc3/x/en-US"

Settings changes in ~/.config/torbrowser/settings.json but launcher ignores it.

This is still not solved! torproject.org domain is blocked in many countries, therefore it's a closed loop: to circumvent the block you have to download torbrowser but how can you download it if the domain is blocked? Please fix download from the mirror sites!
