Cannot run from screen

I can run the launcher from my terminal, alacritty, like torbrowser-launcher

however if I try to run it from a detached screen session, it doesn't open the browser: screen -d -m torbrowser-launcher

Similarly if I run it as a systemd unit it doesn't display: systemd-run --user torbrowser-launcher

or if I run it from a terminal that doesn't hang around, it also doesn't display, like alacritty -e torbrowser-launcher

or even alacritty -e bash --login -c torbrowser-launcher

All of these work for any other graphical application, I'm not sure what's different in the environment in the first case. Any idea how to run the script without an interactive terminal like this? Thanks
