Views cache path

Why do you need ../views/cache?

This was originally a way to use the templates in the root of the theme (typically WP theme files) via the Blade Compiler I was using. It did not work with templates outside of the templates folder. I'll incorporate the same thing roots/sage have in their Blade setup.
