Suggestion: Show system tray with Start menu

Right now there's an option to hide the system tray, but have it show on hover.

That's nice, but I'd like to have an option to have the system tray appear when I open the start menu.

The use case is that sometimes I want to see the time or date, and it's more convenient for me to just press the Windows button, than moving the mouse to the corner.

That's less convenient and it only flashes for half a second, for some reason.
