Is it possible to make the taskbar float above the fully maximized windows. Always shown but floating over it.

You can set top margin to 1, disable "fill when maximized" , and enable autohide...

Can you explain this in detail please, from scratch. where to find those margin options and "fill when maximized"

  • Open RoundedTB settings by right-clicking on the tray icon then "show RoundedTB".
  • The RoundedTB settings windows opens.
  • Click on "advanced settings" or something like that (I'm not home) -Set the "top margin" to 0 or 1 -set the other values like you want
  • untick the "fill taskbar when the window is maximized" (or something like that)
  • Click on "apply" then close the window.
  • Go to windows settings by pressing on win+I or by opening the app
  • Go to Personalization>Taskbar>Taskbar behaviour -Finally tick the "auto hide taskbar" setting.
  • You're done!

Hope this helps.

When i hide taskbar and hover at the bottom of the screen, taskbar is not popping up. how to fix?

To fix that little issue, just set taskbar alignment to the left then back to the center, that will normally fix the issue. (Windows settings>personalisation>taskbar>taskbar behaviour>taskbar alignment)
