Feature request: Adjust offset of pages

Open kw217 opened this issue 8 years ago • 4 comments

Hi - I would like to request a new feature. You already have the ability to rotate pages in the PDF, but it would be great to have the ability to offset (shift, translate) pages by a specified amount. My use case is printing onto laser labels - I have a PDF which I want to translate slightly on the page so it lines up with the labels.

Thanks.

Any thoughts? Would this be a useful feature? Is there anything I can do to accelerate this?

Hi, sorry if we didn't came back to you but we were busy with the new sejda.com and with the current PDFsam release. We won't be able to take a look at this in the near future because the final PDFsam release is very close. Once the release is done we might start looking at new tasks, depending on the amount of bugfixing we'll have to do on v3. The first step to do get this done is to implement it as a SAMBox task in Sejda, once that is done it can be easily added to the sejda-console and to the web interface. We don't know yet about adding tasks to PDFsam, we have all the Sejda tasks available through the sejda-console but only the split/merge/rotate ones added to PDFsam and we might want to create a separate application for all these additional/advanced tasks. If you are willing to implement this as a sejda/sejda-console task that would be very welcome and we can try to help (depending on how busy we are).
