Moving up and down

It would be nice to be able to cut and paste to move lines up and down the table of file names. Moving a file name or a group of file names can get quite tedious over more than a couple of lines.

Could you give version 3.0.3 a try? We added drag and drop of rows so reorder should be faster. Let us know if that would work instead of copy/paste

Thank you for your response. I have tried the new drag and drop in 3.0.3 and it is certainly faster than the move, in addition selecting with CTRL allows a group of randomly positioned files to be quickly moved. However, if there are more files than fit on the screen, the selected files cannot be moved further than the top or bottom of the screen. i.e. the screen won't scroll up/down to reach the desired insertion point. (this seems to happen in windows explorer, although erratically at times) Another point, related to dragging and dropping files into the pdfsam window. If a block of pdf files are selected to be transferred, in order, the files when transferred can be found to be now out of order. I reported this before but the thread was closed. I have now found the cause. When you click on the block of files to drag them to pdfsam, UNLESS you have the cursor on the FIRST file in the block they will not be transferred correctly. Putting it another way, it will transfer all the files BELOW the position of the cursor first, then then transfer the files ABOVE the cursor. Clearly it can become a nuisance to have to position the cursor on the first file of the block each time.
