Tor stops working after some time

After some time Tor stops working for some reason. The daemon is still running but tor2web can't get any hidden service. Everything works fine after restarting the Tor daemon. (somestimes I need to restart tor2web as well :/ )

What's stopping, Tor or tor2web?

I need to do some more debugging. Tor defenetly stops after some time. But sometimes i need tor restart tor2web as well to get stings working again. I try to collect more details.

That happens like a bug that i also noticed.

If you would be able to:

a) Enable full tor logging and debugging b) Make a script that check every 1 minute if it works by connecting to a TorHS, logging the timestamp when it stop working c) Extracting / analyzing the debug log just before/after it stop working d) Opening a ticket on http://trac.torproject.org with:

  • tor configuration
  • debug log
  • script to monitor
  • procedure to reproduce the bug

Then we will followup some gentleman at torproject kindly asking to analyze it and fix it
