Tor2web Startup Failure
this happens when I install tor2web for the first time:
Setting up tor2web (3.0.73-0) ...
Enabling Tor2web Apparmor Sandboxing
* Starting Tor2web tor2web...
* Starting tor daemon... [ OK ]
Tor2web Startup Failure: unexistent file (/home/tor2web/certs/tor2web-key.pem)
Tor2web Startup Failure: unexistent file (/home/tor2web/certs/tor2web-key.pem) [fail]
invoke-rc.d: initscript tor2web, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing tor2web (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing: tor2web
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
We should probably fix this problem by shipping a default TEST certificate pre-loaded
I'm experiencing the same issue when launching the default install script on ubuntu 14.04.
Hi @CirKu17 you need to run an HTTPS certificate with Tor2web. This is what happens when one is not in place.
I have run over https but same problem as this issue
dpkg: error processing package tor2web (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: tor2web E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) root@bitmix:~#
