gitignore.io Will Gitignore.io be archived ?

I noticed https://github.com/toptal/gitignore was archived in late january 2025

In that case, I guess this repository will also follow?

Has there be any communication about that ?

It seems quite abandoned, unfortunately. It sucks, as I love the project and use it often in VSCode.

Indeed, https://github.com/toptal/gitignore seems to have been privated or deleted

I remember having checked on it not more than 1 month ago; So I think it's very recent
