Issue

Development Environment:

  • [x] Web Browser (Name/Version): Safari 13.0.3 (15608.3.10.1.4) on macOS 10.15.1 (19B88)

Expected Behavior:

Pressing Return is equivalent to clicking the Create button.

Actual Behavior:

An error appears below the text field: “Please enter 1 or more characters.” I have to click the Create button with the mouse to get it to work.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Go to the site.
  2. Enter a completion or several. In my case, I wanted Swift, Xcode, and macOS, so my exact keystrokes were s w return x c return m a return.
  3. Press Return a final time to invoke the main action button, “Create."

cmd + return is create. return is select template.

But when there's no template selected, it's reasonable to expect that Return will hit the Create button, since you're done writing things at that point. I think it's completely natural to expect that a user will do that, and I don't think Command-Return is discoverable. You can see the behavior I'm describing when addressing emails in Apple Mail: you start typing and you get the autocomplete list. Once you're done picking, Return moves you to the next field.

Ah yeah I guess I could see that working. That would require a little bit more work with Select 2 and I'm not actively adding functionality to this project anymore. If you want to submit a PR though I'll merge it.

Return je sinonzmum , muže býti považován nebo se chovat metaforickz (takto usuyován)
