Youtube Music OBS (Streamlabs OBS) widget (formerly Google Youtube Music OBS Widget)

This widget is using Youtube Music Desktop Player API for displaying informations about song that is being played.

Updated data collection to work with new YTM Desktop Player version. If the widget doesn't work for you, please update your YTM Desktop Player to the latest version. Don't forget to enable Companion server in the Settings > Integrations.

Features

Requirements:

• Youtube Music Desktop App (https://ytmdesktop.app/)
• Enable Companion server (YTMDesktop > Settings > Integrations > Companion server), image: https://imgur.com/a/f39ibMA)
• In Companion server settings:
  • Enable Allow browser communication
  • Enable companion authorization (just for the first time you use the widget)*

Installation steps for OBS (Streamlabs OBS)

• in case you want to run widget on your local machine, clone this repository, check Local file and link the file index.html

Parameters

You can use multiple parameters (separated by + sign) for disabling/enabling some features.

You can combine multiple parameters together, for example for transparent background and circle progress bar, you will use: index.html?features=transparent-background+circle-progressbar

Custom YTMDesktop Remote Access URL

If you want to fetch data from other source than 127.0.0.1:9863, you can use parameter url, for example: URL:https://topik.github.io/youtube-music-obs-widget/?url=https://example.tld:9863 (don't forget about the port)
