Have you tried setting a TTF font for the icon manager (TipsFont) and the pager (BaloonFont)?

I notice that you are using a TTF font in the pager balloons but the default fixed raster font in the icon manager balloons. Do the icon manager balloons behave...

We're still looking at this and the patch is an initial POC. Thanks for the feedback. Setting a fallback emoji font is a nice idea.

@lolicon0930 I noticed the title disappearing problem too. Do you also get it with your installed fonts but without the patch?

Ok thanks. So I think that is a separate issue from the crash that I was trying to fix. As I said I see it too and will look into...
