Search doesn't work as expected

Nothing happens when I hit enter in search text box (same behaviour with snap and flatpak).

Version: 24.10 OS: Ubuntu 24.04

Currently search probably doesn't work the way you expect it to. At the moment, it reorders the list of notes based upon how closely the match the search term in real time. Pressing enter does nothing, the notes list is ordered after each key press.

I've looked at the code before and agree this probably isn't what one would expect the search function to do, so it is on my list of things to fix at some point.

Could you kindly provide a status update regarding this issue? I am new to Folio and I love it but as it stands if I can't search my notes, it greatly limits its usefulness to me. Thank you

+1 : Ctrl-F inside note should allow text search inside note (md or txt).

I still agree this behaviour is probably incorrect, but I haven't looked at it recently so it's still a future release feature.

I would certainly accept a PR if someone wanted to code up the feature though.
